Daihatsu Sigra's Market Share Has Increased

A cheap LCGC green car product, Daihatsu Sigra is still leading the sales of Astra Daihatsu Motor until April.

PT ADM announced the sales achievement for the first quarter of this year. In the January-April  period, 60,706 Daihatsu cars were sold at retail. Meanwhile, all sales were 66,825 units.

Daihatsu Sigra leads with a score of 16,860 units for retail. LCGC, which sells starting from Rp. 114 million, also won numbers and 20,077 units for all sales.

While below is the Gran Max pick-up with a retail record of 12,065 units and its flagship MPV (multi-purpose vehicle), Daihatsu Xenia which won 8,566 units. However, Daihatsu's retail sales and all sales this time fell compared to the previous period.

Not only PT ADM, this decline was also experienced nationally. National retail until April 2019 was 340,118 units, down 11.8% compared to last year. Likewise, all sales totaled 337,321 units or 14.4% lower than the same period in 2018.

Likewise, PT ADM claims that sales in the two categories fell by 6.4% and 5.2%. Even so, it is still smaller than the decline in the national market. So that in Daihatsu's market share, it has increased 17.8% for retail and 19.8% for all sales.

DAIHATSU SIGRA BECOME A CITIZENS 'CHOICE
